Returns & Refunds

Items purchased from Sustainababy may be returned if you have changed your mind or are unhappy with the product. Except where required by law, all returned products must be:

  • Unused and unopened
  • In original condition with tags attached (if applicable)
  • Returned within 14 days of dispatch from our store

Please note that we cannot offer an exchange or refund on the following items:

  • Body products (unless in sealed, tamper-proof packaging)
  • Tetra Bassinet Mattresses and pillows.
  • Seasonal items after the season has ended
  • Sale items


If you have paid for your order using Paypal, Paypal will cover the cost of shipping for your returned item.

With the exception of damaged goods, if you have paid using other methods, all items must be returned at your expense using a registered service (eg. Australia Post Express Post or Registered Mail). Please keep the appropriate proof of return otherwise if the item goes missing in transit, you will be held accountable for the loss. It is your responsibility to ensure the goods are adequately packaged to ensure they are not damaged during return transit.

Where you would like to exchange your goods for other products, please include a self addressed satchel for the exchanged goods to be shipped.

A store credit for the purchase price of the good/s only will be issued for items returned due to change of mind. In the event that you receive a defective or damaged product, we will refund the original product price, delivery, wrapping and other fees (including return postage) via the original method of payment once the items have been received and fault approved.
