Sustainababy September Eco Challenge
This September, Sustainababy is eco challenging you to RID YOUR HOME OF CHEMICALS.
For just one month we’re asking you to review your household chemical use and make a considerable effort to switch to greener options.
Many of us have been duped by advertising over the years to believe we need a separate cleaning product for every household task. This simply is not true and is not only expensive for the household budget, but is unhealthy for your family and our environment.
Chemicals commonly found in homes include laundry, bathroom and kitchen cleaning products, pest deterrents, gardening aids and even beauty products. This month you may choose to review one area or all of them! For some green cleaning tips, check our our pointers here. Alternatively you may even try fabric cleaning gloves – whatever it takes to reduce your chemical load!
Document your journey though the month for your chance to WIN a 1kg bag of Pure Revolution Soap Nuts.
Keen to do the Eco Challenge? This is what you’ll need to do:
- Request to join our closed Sustainababy Monthly Eco Challenge Group here
- For the month of September make every effort to Rid Your Home of Chemicals.
- Write a short summary of your journey (500 words maximum) and email your summary and photographs with subject line “September Eco Challenge” to laura@sustainababy.com.au before midday AEST Monday 7th October. Please ensure your summary is grammatically correct as the winning summary will be published word for word.
- The winner will be contacted by email and their summary will be published on our blog no later than 5pm AEST Friday 11th October 2013.
